NOTICE OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN 

that a Special Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Joly will be held on: 

Monday, June 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. 

Joly Township Municipal Office 

PURPOSE OF MEETING: 

1. Fire Protection Services –Sundridge-Strong Agreement– Council will consider a resolution to enter into a tri-party fire protection services cost-sharing agreement with the Village of Sundridge and the Township of Strong, including financing of a one-time capital contribution. 
2. Student/Work Experience Honorarium – Clerk’s Discretionary Authority (2026)– Council will consider a resolution authorizing the Clerk to issue an honorarium of up to $500.00 to unpaid student interns or work experience program participants placed with the Township in the 2026 calendar year.

This meeting is open to the public. Members of the public are welcome to attend as observers.
